Pascal Auger, our Chef
Pascal Auger, our talented Chef inspired by simplicity, authenticity and creativity.
From an apprenticeship in a restaurant in Bourges, he goes on to master his art with renowned chefs such as Willer, Girault and Passard.
During his time in Normandy, he achieves the place of Chef de Cuisine in Royal Hotel in Deauville.
Back in his native Berry in 1991, he is awarded a Michelin star in the Abbaye Saint Ambroix de Bourges, reaffirming his reputation for talent and creativity.
After 10 months of presiding over the famous "Chez Serge", Michelin awards him a star and other guides confered similar distinctions (Gault & Millau, Champérard...).
In the autumn of 2004, he takes charge of the Chateau de Salettes in the heart of Gaillac wine country, at Cahuzac-sur-Vère.
On November 6th, 2007, Pascal Auger is awarded Chief of the Year by the Champérard Guide.
On March 6th, 2008, he gets a first star for Salettes in the Michelin Guide, acknowledged once more by the Red Guide after Bourges and La Rochelle.
